Suncadia Late Afternoon Sunshine Snow Shower
We spent the day ice skating and swimming and just chillaxing. It was windy and snowing and sunny for most of the day. The views are spectacular. Exploring a Galaxy Far, Far Away With My SonAfter waiting seven long years, Sam and I finally watched his first Star Wars movie -- Episode IV A New Hope. He was totally mesmerized, so it was awesome. Now I can't decide when to move on to the next one. 
The Boy Turned Seven
This evening has been a sequence of Legos, hot dogs, ice cream cake and then more Legos. To be followed tomorrow with more Legos. Life is good.Except: Wow. I have a seven-year old. Perhaps Our Snowman Needs to Sit DownBy Seattle standards this is a natural disaster. But it's great not to have to commute today. 
New Years Feast

Nothing like a belly full of pancakes, footy pajamas, a cozy chair, a toasty fire and the funnies to start the year. Happy Holidays From a Warm PlaceI'm a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas and the holidays, so I wasn't sure how the trip to Florida would go. I have to say, it's been lovely to be in a place with warm breezes, lovely beaches and outdoor dining for Christmas. The kids are having a blast. Palm trees look great with Christmas lights. Perhaps new traditions are needed.
